Opened in August 2013 by Christopher Bender and David Crowell, Stoneacre Brasserie is a neighborhood restaurant focused on sustainability and a positive relationship with our local environment. Our menu is small, seasonal, and supports nearby farms and fishermen with fish from nearby waters and meats from local farms that raise their animals humanely. The wine list highlights small producers from France and many of our cocktails have house-made components.
At Stoneacre we believe that the best tasting food is locally grown in ways that are ecologically sound by people who are taking care of the land for future generations. Southern New England is the home to many small family farms and historic fishing ports. We highlight and support our friends in this farming and fishing community.
